August's Home of the Month winner is....

on being selected as the August Home of the Month winner!

This month’s featured home belongs to Charlene Hall, and it holds a special place in Beverly’s history. Built in 1947 by Baisl and Thelma Hall, this home has remained in the Hall family for generations, lovingly cared for and thoughtfully updated through the years. The original wood floors still grace the home, carrying with them decades of family memories.

Charlene and her late husband, Dennis, put tremendous effort into restoring and improving the property. They added a spacious garage on land purchased next to the home, giving them plenty of storage and workspace. The basement was remodeled into a large, welcoming family room with a dedicated laundry area, creating a perfect space for gatherings.

More recently, the home has received significant updates, including a new roof, new siding, and plans for updated shutters - thanks to the work of Rain Stoppers. These improvements have kept the home fresh and well maintained, while honoring its original charm.

When asked about her favorite part of the property, Charlene quickly shared her love for the land. Growing up in Beverly, she treasures the peacefulness, privacy, and sense of community the area provides. It’s clear that 914 Mitchell Avenue is more than just a house - it’s a home rooted in family history, hard work, and a deep connection to the neighborhood.
